Support for parents and guardians of LGBTQ children (no matter the age of the child)
WHEN: 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. on the 1st., 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday of each month

- Are you seeking a supportive and social community?
- Do you wish to speak to other parents / guardians regarding raising your LGBTQ child?
- Do you need resources, references, and referrals to support your LGBTQ child, as well as your entire family?
Join Grand Rapids Pride Center’s organically formed Parents of LGBTQ youth social and support group. This group is entirely peer facilitated by parents and guardians who have children attending our Youth Group and/or Young Adult Group. The only requirement for attending the group is that you have cared for a child, no matter the age, who identifies as LGBTQ. For individuals 18 years of age and older.
The parent group meets at the same times as our youth group. Although the Parents of LGBTQ Group does not officially meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, please feel free to relax in our library during that meeting of the Youth Group.
Are allies welcome? Yes! For the Parents of LGBTQ group, past or present parents or guardians of LGBTQ individuals are all encouraged to attend, and may themselves identify in any way.
