A day just wasn't enough, so we made it a week of events celebrating our Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Community!

What is Trans Day of Visibility?

Transgender Day Of Visibility (TDOV) is an annual holiday celebrated around the world, dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and victories of trans & gender non-conforming people while raising awareness of the work that is still needed to save trans lives.

 

Trans Week of Visibility Kick Off
Friday, March 24th 7:30-8:30pm Blue Bridge, Downtown Grand Rapids

Join us on the blue bridge to kick off a week of visibility for the transgender community, leading up to the global Transgender Day of Visibility on the 31st. We'll be lighting up the bridge in the colors of the Trans Flag and saying a few words. Join us all in demonstrating our support for the community. *Family Friendly

Over 90 businesses and organizations in Grand Rapids will be proudly flying the trans flag all week long in solidarity! These flags represent supportive community organizations and safe spaces. See below for the full list.
